We offer placenta prints for all Twin Cities / Metro Minnesota families.
Placenta Encapsulation
We offer placenta encapsulation via the Raw Prep or Traditional Chinese Medicine preparation methods. Both preparation methods offer the benefits previously discussed, however there are small differences between the two processing options.
Placenta capsules are meant to be taken during your early postpartum phase - for the first 2-4 weeks - and then slowly tapered off as you go further into your postpartum time.
Placenta Tincture
A placenta tincture is a liquid form of placenta medicine where a piece of raw placenta is distilled in alcohol for 4-6 weeks. This extracts the hormones and nutrients from the placenta for use in the postpartum time and beyond. Because tinctures don’t expire, people choose to use them during their postpartum, to regulate their hormones when their cycles return, to help them boost milk supply when they return to work, and sometimes even save them for menopause.
Unlike placenta capsules, tinctures are not meant to be taken daily or on a routine basis. Tinctures are often used for temporary/short term support during a life event or challenging time.
The evidence on placenta encapsulation is anecdotal yet compelling, with postpartum parents all over the world reporting a variety of benefits, including improved energy levels, increased milk production, iron restoration, reduced bleeding, mood regulation, and a reduction in depression and anxiety symptoms.

Raw Prep Placenta Encapsulation - $300
Pick-up and drop-off of your placenta & products
75-200 capsules, depending on placenta size
A free heart-shaped keepsake of your baby's umbilical cord

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Placenta Encapsulation: $325
Pick-up and drop-off of your placenta & products
Steaming with or without traditional herbs: lemon, honey, ginger, and/or chilis
75-100 capsules, depending on placenta size
A free heart-shaped keepsake of your baby's umbilical cord

Placenta Tincture: $50
Can be added to placenta encapsulation services
Pick-up and drop-off of placenta & products
4oz of placenta distilled in high quality organic brandy
Vegetable glycerin is available as a substitute for alcohol-based tincture
Placenta Prints: $50
Can be added to any of the above services

11x15 canvas print of placenta
Placenta prints will be completed without paint or additives if the placenta is being consumed or tinctured. Paints can be added (color requests accepted!) if the placenta is not going to be consumed!
